The CEC should publish the schedule of TEC sessions, all TEC decisions, and the signed TEC protocols with results disaggregated by polling station, on its website in a systematic and timely manner. The editorial independence of the public media and citizens’ access to impartial, critical and analytical political programmes should be further strengthened. In this respect, extending requirements for impartial election coverage by public media during the complete election cycle could be considered. This includes non-preferential reporting on the activities of public and state officials also outside official campaign periods.
